Kingston, NH - Less than three weeks after Russell Prescott won the Republican primary, a new joint NRCC / Prescott for Congress internal poll shows he is within the margin of error.
According to the poll, Congressman Pappas is at only 46.4%, Russell Prescott is at 42.4%, and over 11% are undecided.
After messaging, Prescott leads Pappas 51% to 42%.
Undecided congressional voters prefer a generic Republican 44-30% and disapprove of Pappas by a 10% margin.
“Congressman Chris Pappas has been in Washington for three terms, and the fact that his support is stuck in the mid-40s reaffirms that voters are unhappy that he’s stood by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ liberal policies that have resulted in higher taxes and open borders,” said Derek Dufresne, General Consultant for Russell Prescott. “Voters are tired of the poor economic results from Congressman Pappas, and that’s why Russell’s vision to secure the border, reduce inflation, and lower taxes is resonating with voters and why he will win in November.”
